Business areas offered

Volkswagen Group Japan offers internships in the four brands (VW, Audi, Lamborghini and Bentley) and within the following departments and functions / Group functions:

• Human Resources
• Network Management
• After Sales
• General Service
• Marketing
• PR
• Sales
• Business Operations

We try to take requests for certain areas into account. However, internship positions may already be filled and departments reserve the right to close positions and open others as needed.

Duration of internship
Minimum 6 months, with the option to extend to 12 months.

Start of internship
Throughout the year

Salary and benefits

• About 180.000 JPY per month. Please note: Income tax and social security (health insurance and pension) will be deducted.
• Reimbursement of travel expenses to and from work (up to 50.000 JPY per month).

Support for visa applicationMonthly expenses
Depends on personal expenses (approximately JPY 130,000 – 150,000 per month)

Requirements
Enrolled at the university for the entire duration of the internship; Flexibility for the start of the internship, as (if necessary) the visa application can take 1-3 months.

Language knowledge
Japanese: Level N2 or better
English: Business fluent
German: Desirable, but not essential

Experience abroad
Desirable, but not essential

Work experience
Desirable, but not essential

Documents required

• Certificate of enrollment
• proof that the internship will be credited towards the acquisition of credits at the home university or that the internship is a compulsory part of the course of study.
